The UCC Department of Music project is centred on the adaptation of the historic St. Vincent’s Seminary building, Sunday’s Well, for the purpose of improving its accessibility for people with all levels of disabilities. As part of the brief, measures to increase accessibility internally and externally were undertaken while also conserving the historic features and character of the building. New bespoke doors, accessible WCs, passenger lift, partitions, floor and ceiling finishes, and new furniture were installed. The project was delivered in collaboration with Fionnuala Rogerson Architects.

The project was funded following an accessibility audit carried out by Butler Cammoranesi architects in conjunction with Fionnuala Rogerson Architects.
