The proposed development of a 0.16ha inner urban site on Evergreen Road in the city’s south Parish ACA which includes an existing mid 18th century, two storey dwelling (over basement) which is to be retained and repaired.
The development comprises of 14no. one and two bed apartments. It is designed to make best use of the narrow plot, with three new buildings orientated around the existing dwelling. It is envisaged that the housing will create a defined neighbourhood within the wider Evergreen Road area which will encourage interaction between the residents through use of the shared amenity area and streetscape. The historic building appraisal report was completed by John Cronin & Associates.
House types are based on a common architectural language which will provide aesthetic coherence across the development.
