The proposed residential development on Devonshire Street is the result of an initial feasibility/site capacity study. The proposal comprises 15 dwellings and 18 beds arranged in 3 to 4 storey volumes in a city centre infill site.
The entrance to the development is from Devonshire Street West, which leads to a shared amenity area that also contains bicycle parking, waste storage and plantroom areas. From this courtyard, the access to the units is provided through a deck access.
The development respects its surrounding in terms of height and scale. The massing is articulated with recessed balconies, and lower roof areas where shared amenity spaces are also provided.
