Butler Cammoranesi architects, in conjunction with AECOM and MH Planning, prepared a Planning & Design Summary to accompany a request by Citidwell Homes Ltd. for a pre-planning consultation with Cork County Council for a residential development at Banduff, Co. Cork.
The proposed development comprises 865 no. dwellings, a crèche, local/neighbourhood centre and all associated ancillary site development works. These works include the provision of number of play/amenity areas, landscaping and all associated infrastructure and services specifically vehicular access off the R615 Old Youghal Road to the south and off the Rathcooney Road to the north, road improvements/upgrades to the R615 Old Youghal Road and allows for future connections to the existing Lus Na Meala estate to the southwest and to the existing zoned lands to the west.
The development will be phased south to north over a 10-year permission period. In order to satisfy the Part V requirement, the transfer of 86 no. units is proposed, which will peppered across the site in clusters of 4-8 units.
